10 Ways to Carve a Pumpkin ~ Cinderella Carriage, Skeleton Arms, Pirate Ships and More!!

Pumpkin Carving Ideas Collage edited

How many of you have trouble coming up with ideas for your Halloween pumpkins? I know I sure do. In fact, that is part of the reason why I haven’t carved a pumpkin since my daughter was born (bad, I know!).

This year, though, my daughter is old enough to know what pumpkin carving is all about, and I know she’s going to want to give it a try. So, it’s time to think of something fabulous that fits our personalities. If you’re like me, I’ve got some great ideas for you! In fact, I think we’ll be doing the Cinderella carriage pumpkin this year for my Disney princess lover!

Skeleton Arms – How cool is this one?? This is a fun way to use two pumpkins!

Psych Pineapple – My husband and I are kind of addicted to Psych, so we are totally going to have to carve the Psyche pineapple into one of our pumpkins this year!

Girly Skull and Crossbones – I LOVE the bow on this! It really turns a regular skull and crossbones into something different!

Dotted Lights – This one seems SO easy! Just drill some holes into your empty pumpkin and put in your light! Check out how pretty it looks! I’m thinking I’m going to have to do one of these for my front step!

Cinderella Carriage – My daughter is REALLY into princesses right now, so I’m pretty sure we’ll be carving a pumpkin like this! It doesn’t look too hard, which is definitely a requirement for me. :)

Mummy Pumpkins – Mummies are one of the things I think of when I think of Halloween, and how cute are these mummy pumpkins??

Lollipop Holder Pumpkin – How fabulous is this idea? Kill two birds with one stone – carve your pumpkin and use it as a way to hold treats for trick-or-treaters! Love it!

Pirate Ship Pumpkin – Wow -this pumpkin is all kinds of awesome and is perfect for all of you with pirate fans at home!

Light Brite Pumpkin – Who remembers Light Brites?? I used to LOVE these things! If you still have one or can find one, you can use the pegs to make a super cool pumpkin!

Starry, Starry Night – I love stars, and I’m loving this pumpkin – the glowing stars are SO pretty!
